Karina Smirnoff dumps Maksim Chmerkovskiy

When they first got together Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez fell in love.  It was later confirmed that they were definitely dating when they were seen vacationing together.  Everyone called them the hot couple considering that she is overtly sexual and teamed up with a Latino man.

In May 2007 the couple started to live together.  Three months later despite rumors the couple confirmed that they were steady and even met each other’s families.

Then came the news of their breakup.

We learned then that she was dating fellow Dancing With The Stars dancer Maks or Max and they talked about getting married.  No more!  “I am confirming that they did indeed break up,” Karina’s rep told news outlets.
